Greetings,

I am near close-out of the rudder on my 320 and have a question for
the collective wisdom of LNC2 flyers out there.

"What should I do about rudder trim?"

My current thought is to not install an electric trim servo.  That
would be handy for long, extended climbs but this is a 320 not a IV-P.
The real questions whether or not I should build in a fixed tab on the
rudder a la Cessna style for taking up any building misalignment.  The
problem with this is the ugliness of a tab hanging off the back of my
nice clean Lancair.  Heck, I may not even need it.  However, adding one
later could be even uglier.

What is the experience out there?  Did you install a trim tab and not
need it?  Did you not install one and wish you had?  I'd love to learn
from your experiences.

Thanks!

Dan Olsen
