Ed, Jim and Rob,
Lancair does a really good job considering their problems dealing with us
(builders) and their suppliers, tardy as they can be.  At times I have felt
I was being nickled and dimed but in retrospect it all makes sense.  I, too,
keep a card on file.  I need to make sure to ask about billing charges to
keep myself from expecting the moon.  Lunch is still not free.
I just want my pressurization outflow valve (28v) and whatever else is due
there.
I recommend buying small parts and specialty items from other sources and
purchasing Lancair catalog items from Kit Components.  Shipping is cheaper
from API, AC Spruce, San Val, Edmo or others and is much faster.  Plus, they
really don't have time.  Vern knows the factory items perfectly and is a
great help whenever such bits are needed.
