I can't tell you how pleased I am with the fit and finish of this perfectly designed mount. It is an exact replacement for the factory continental unit. Early on I decided I wanted more reliability than was available from Lycoming or Continental and I decided to use Zehrbach's 650 cu. inch inverted V-8. One of the main stipulations was that my nose gear be mounted in the same location as the factory gear. I wanted my already completed gear doors etc. to still fit the new v8 mount, and it turned out perfect, absolutely no modification to my factory parts. All that was needed was to drill the original mount to firewall holes out to except the new 1/2 " bolts. This engine is designed to have the full 500 horsepower at 25,000'. The engine is a direct drive 2700 RPM max. Zehrbach will be running my engine in the Dyno soon. I have for sale a 550 mount and complete cowl.
