Hey, everyone, it looks like it's time to start the major migration to
the new LML/Lancairtalk website. Paul has made great strides with getting things setup there and thanks to some major changes in MY life I'm
going to finally have a bit more time to devote to it as well, so we should start picking up the pace to help keep track of all the new traffic,
files, pictures, whatever. Coming up is Paul's official announcement/request, so please follow his instructions to help keep things happening in
an orderly fashion. See you on "the other side".....

From Lancairtalk.net
More than a 100
people have moved over to the new site from LML and many new
faces from around the world have signed up who are not on the LML. At
least
one Lancair has been sold already in the classified area. I think the new
Legacy kit owner (Travis) is pretty
excited. We have a lot of owners of all
the Lancair type now online and participating. The Lancair factory is online
with us and has recently added checklists and other other documents for all
the airframes.
Everyone who wants to move over now is
welcome. The website is a
forum-based site with ability to add large photos, documents and many
features that are just too many to
list here. Some LML'rs have lost their
email account here (I lost my gmail account here months ago) because of
changes to anti-spam
requirements so those folks will be contacted separately
with Marv's participation and invited to switch over and resume being part of
the
group.
You can always just contact me at admin@lancairtalk.net and I will swap you
over or you can go to the site and
register.
I also will reply to the Emergency decent thread on the new site because I
have a few thousand hours in the TBM and I've
done all the plane and sim
training with the systems in question. I also knew the couple who perished
and flew with them in a
11-ship TBM flight across the Atlantic in 2001. The
new site is a wonderful way to enhance a discussion and stay on topic and
remove the clutter of emails. Maybe we can learn something or refresh our
training with what we find out in that discussion and
other topics.
And, the entire LML historical message base will be online soon and
searchable.
Drop me a line directly at
pjdmiller@gmail.com (do not copy the LML please) and just add first and last name plus the Lancair type flying/building or
wanna-build.
cheers
Paul
