I second the Zolatone. Use a cheap HVLP gun from Harbor Freight.

=20

I would suggest you mount your external transponder antenna. I was told=
that too, and insisted on mounting an AAE internal antenna anyway. A y=
ear later I mounted the blade on the bottom of the belly. Numerous repo=
rts of lost transponder from ATC. Easier to do now. I also ended up mo=
unting an external comm antenna after the fact too.

Chris,

Try Zolatone for your interior painting, http://www.aircraftspruce.com/c=
atalog/cmpages/zolatonepaint.php?clickkey=3D9130. It doesn=E2=80=99t co=
me in spray cans but it=E2=80=99s great stuff.

Three questions about finishing the cockpit...

1.	Can anyone recommend a fire extinguisher and location to mount it? =20
2.	I=E2=80=99ve rolled WLS epoxy primer on the inside of the canopy fram=
e. I=E2=80=99d like to spray matt speckled or textured paint so the imp=
erfections aren=E2=80=99t so obvious. Any recommendations, preferably i=
n spray can?=20
3.	I mounted a Bob Archer XPDR antenna on the fuselage side behind the h=
at rack. The XPDR is a Garmin 327. Can anyone confirm they=E2=80=99re =
getting good performance with this antenna location? I=E2=80=99m close =
enough to Houston HOU and IAH and plan to fly in Class B airspace so I c=
an=E2=80=99t get away with an intermittent signal. I have an old stubb=
y antenna that I could easily mount under the stub wing on the opposite =
side to the pitot head, but no point in moving it unless I have to (thou=
gh it=E2=80=99s an easier job now than a few hours into the flight test =
program).

Thanks in advance...
