I wondered who suffered this problem when I received an urgent email from Jason Smith of Aerotronics yesterday forwarding a warning from Robert DuRall to hold off on install if I have the Pinpoint system.

The problem for me is that it's too late.  I've had version 7.0-E installed for a couple of months. I purchased through Jason and self installed. Funny thing is that I haven't noticed any difficulties beyond stumbling a little here and there with the setup.  Once I got the steps correctly done the
Cheltons are performing better than they did with the old hard drives and earlier software.

Robert is advising that I go ahead and keep using but I think he is advising to stay on the Nav data version I have installed now, which I uploaded about 28 days ago.  

He thinks it's safe to keep downloading flight data, which I need to be doing right now, so I am awaiting more news with fingers crossed and breath held.
