I stopped at KEMV (Emporia, Virginia) last night.   Gas is $5.29.  Melvin Vick took really good care of me: put me in a hangar overnight for free, gave me a free car, and a special rate at the Hampton Inn.  It happens to be just about halfway home to Vermont from Orlando so it worked out nicely for me.
