Bob Smiley's post re the use of Maytag dryer "z" section seal prompted me
to go to my appliance repair shop today.  You can't believe how many
different seals there are.  Is there a part number available for this
seal?  If not, how about a dimensioned description?  What adhesive did
you use to bond it to the canopy?

Sounds like a great solution to the ragged lower edges of the "p" seal.
