My policy is to NOT read my fuel gauges when I am talking on the
radio. Ever since I have implemented this policy, my fuel gauges have
read accurately. (Sorry, but I couldn't resist.)
Actually, I do have the same fuel gauge wobble on some frequencies
but without the audio. I could see the audio as being a real
annoyance. I am using probes and a gauge from a Michigan based
company. I don't know the name at this time.
The next time that I fly I will check to see if the oil temperature
and/or the outside air temperature numbers deviate from normal.
