Its not building related, but definitely something many pilots will appreciate.

Often when I write a book review the reader is able to deduce from how I
write it, whether or not it is an item which I truly like or else just
something which is included here simply because it is "supposed to be". This is
one of those exceptional books; and although I hesitated a bit because of the
price, however it is a good example getting what you pay for. The 2nd edition
of Aviation Weather is Jeppesen at its best. It is also, without a doubt, the
best and clearest book on weather as it pertains to pilots that I have seen.
It is not just a meteorological text, but one which specifically applies to
VFR and IFR operations, including a very indepth coverage of current
aviation weather services and resources. Chapters are also included on
reading and interpreting coded and graphic reports along with advise on which
are relevent at which times along with frequencies and procedures to obtain
them.
It is a complete and modern aviation weather course between 2 covers and
will give anyone a clear and practical understanding of the environment in
which we fly and a greater ability to predict go and no-go days.

Videos showing the overhaul and assembly of the Lycoming 0-200, 0-320, 0-360,
and IO-360. They are not yet listed on the site, but are currently enroute and
will be I stock in a few days. We bought these sight unseen because of
Mattituck's exceptional reputation of providing the finest overhaul and engine
service in the business. According to Mattituck, "these videos, combined with
the proper Lycoming manual and parts catalog should allow the reasonably
mechanically minded person to perform major engine work on their Lycoming
engines". The price is $34.95 each.
