The other day, old Sonic Bill and I were kicking around the idea of a little
Lancair fly-in here in the east. Since Sue and I live on an airpark in
Fredericksburg, VA,  we thought, what the hell, we'll just have it right
here at our hangar. It's on Sunday, October 8th.  It's going to be a very
informal little get together,  just a bunch of Lancair builders and flyers
getting together to look at each others airplanes and talk Lancairs. We
figure that we'd have the coffee on with bagels and danish around 10 and
that we'd start putting burgers and brats on the grill around noon. Plenty
of parking for Lancairs and even a few spots for cars.

Dogwood Airpark is on the Washington sectional about 35 miles
south-southwest of Washington, DC. (outside class B).  Its 4,100 ft long,
paved and lighted. We'd like to see you here so if you're interested, e-mail
or phone us. We'll e-mail you details and a bad picture of the airpark.
