The rolled depression on the aft cabin roll over area is for drainage. I have seen many fellas use this area for a round rubber seal of various types but it rolls off on the lower corners and duct tape seems to be the fix. The fix. go to the local appliance repair and sales store and look at the door seals for the maytag dryers. This rubber seal is sold by the unit for roughly $5.00. You will need one plus about 12 inches; so for ten bucks you get two and glue it on the aft side of the canopy. The seal cross sectional area is Z shaped with one leg slightly angled out to provide contact with the opposite surface and then be sealed by internal air pressure. I glued it on the aft side of the canopy and it contacts the forward face of the roll over bar when the canopy is closed. On final closing I do not find any evidence of rolling or tearing the seal off its glued base. It is a light gray in color which is compatible with most paint schemes. Very effective, does not roll off and leaves a clean fuselage for entry and exit. I used the regular D tube for the forward and bottom edges of the canopy provided by Vern.
