We were able to sort it out by lowering the front end of the flap roller bracket by 3/16 of an inch . Then rewelding the arms back to the attach plate in this new position . With this done no problems . Now we have a new question , While doing the final rigging of the flaps in the full up position they are in alignment but when they are full down the left hand flap is 2 1/2 to 3 degrees different to the right . Our new question is this going to cause a problem in flight ( eg barrel rolls ) or are we worried over nothing ? Response from people who built and are flying their IV-Ps would be appreciated .
