I feel late as Dego Red left Mojave days ago. I am lucky to know three of the avionics gurus. I helped wipe down the airplane and bent a little tin for the video recorder mount on the floor behind Skip Holmes' seat. He then flew formation with folks who have a classic Beech Travel (Baron) Air over the desert for photo ops and cover shots. Kevin says he wishes all formation pilots were that good. That was Sunday before last. I'm really interested in the Sportsman race. Of course, Lancair won in a IV last year. Rumor has it they changed the engine before flying home to Oregon. Nice to be able to afford that! We're wishing the factory good luck and hope they win again.
