I was reminded of that this morning when I heard of the 320 builder who couldn't buy wings....I can just imagine the comments flying around on the other builder websites about this one. Hey, why don't you offer to buy the plug mold and refurbish it? David Jones [David, in fairness to the factory your comment above isn't quite 100%... Bryan's post stated that he was advised that the factory had stopped making L235 wings long ago. L320 wings are still available to him, he's just less than enthusiastic about the price. As for their decision to stop making the 235 wings due to the molds being unservicable, well, that's manufacturing for you. I deal with this kind of thing routinely with some of the glass equipment I support... customers with 15-year-old machines get disgruntled when we tell them that some of the original components are no longer available. It's about the same as trying to buy a new motherboard for an 8088-processor based PC... no one's making them anymore and what's the point when you can get very recent technology for a song. Factories can't continue to manufacture items that are obsolete and for which there simply isn't a reasonably sized marketplace. Just economics.
