Bob,   you will need to sand down the nylon in the mounting blocks to make
it a nice fit.  The same will be true with the rudder pedal nylon bearings.
Once the fit is good, you won't need to lube it, or polish the tube.  As far
as the FB fuselage goes, they only core out one side (like you see), but you
need to core out the other side and make it just like the left side.  You
might be able to see it in some of the pictures that I have on my web site
