The book says there should not be "excessive friction" as the ES flap torque
tube rotates. In my opinion, there is excessive friction just from "clamping
on" the nylon lined mounting blocks. How are these blocks to be adjusted?
Are they intended to be pulled in tight with the two joining bolts? Once the
4 mounting holes are drilled into the fairing rib or seat support, you're
stuck with that block "looseness." What about lubricant? Polishing the tube
at the contact area? Reaming out nylon hole? Will it "break in"?
Also...In my F.B. fuselage, only the left rear seat support has been cored
out etc for the mounting block attachment. Is it intended to only use one
inboard block? This would be contrary to the book which instructs us to use
both seat supports for mounting blocks
