Saturday, July 13, was a perfect day to fly – light winds, fair skies and a destination.  27 Lancairians coming in 16 beautiful Lancair aircraft descended into Placerville, CA. to meet old friends and make new ones, view each other’s plane, and enjoy lunch.  The gathering took place at the EAA Chapter 512 hangar at KPVF.  Steve and Claudette Colwell had the additional pleasure of hosting Dennis and Janice Johnson in the Legacy who came early to help as well as early arrivals, Doug and Barb Owen in their Lancair Turbo-Prop at dinner on Friday night. 

Arrivals came from as far away as Grand Prairie, Texas (via Taos, New Mexico) Oceanside, CA and Hillsboro, Oregon.
