Harper,
i have a Lancair 320 with an IO-320D1B and a 90° forward swapped injector. I have not Chris´s cowling. In addition I use a small air filter box with bypass.
However I have to say my engine does not run very smooth in idle rpm. I can´t tell this is caused by 90° injector design.
However the cowling looks nice J

How have others handled the intake for a forward mounted fuel injection on a 320 with Chris Zavatson's cowl? Do most people run a straight pipe from the cowl to the injector body (w/ a flexible component) , pipe with a screen or a very small filter housing?
