The firewall circumference is smaller on the 235 but nothing a jig saw can't fix. I used hinge along the sides so I didn't care about the joggle anyway. I should mention that I have a Mazda rotary rather than a Lyco-saurus so there might be clearance issues with baffling and exhaust for your installation.
