It feeds from the header tank through a Airflow Performance fuel filter, which is a nice anodized cylinder about 5" long and 2" in diameter, with a stainless mesh screen inside. You can take it apart to inspect/clean. No problems with either pump or filter in 200hr. On the last 2 annuals I found nothing inside. I have a picture of it if you are interested.
