Angier, I see similar patterns when Radio Frequency energy (RF) gets into the data lines and distorts the data. (This is on a GRTavionics.com system.) I usually see multiple overtemps which settle down after the radio transmission. Question is: was that correlated with a radio transmission? Sometimes it happens just on a particular frequency or channel. I have also seen autopilot roll servo lock outs for the same reason.
Prop over-speed sounds just like when you advance the prop control for landing checklist, except higher frequency. Bill
