To: lancair.list@olsusa.com X-Mailing-List: lancair.list@olsusa.com Reply-To: lancair.list@olsusa.com Mime-Version: 1.0 <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<--->>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> << Lancair Builders' Mail List >> <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<--->>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >> Last week I was at Lancair for the first builder assist on the Legacy. It took us all of 7 hours to close out the wing. The fit was truly amazing. The gaps were great (a little work - 1 hour a side to get them perfect.) The Lancair staffs Mark, Cary and the other guys were good fun to work with. I honestly don't see why anybody would not go this route. Just the time saving from not having to build the jig for the wing is worth the extra cash. I've helped build IV wings (old style-rib fitting-cap stripping etc..) so I've seen both sides of the coin. Lancair has done an excellent job! Happy building!
