Hi

I have a IO-390 installed in my Lancair 360.
The space in the front part of the exhaust is very limited. In the middle of the exhaust tubes I have 2 slip joints.
But these are not tight. So in the rear part I will have exhaust fumes. So I don't like this area for a heat exchanger.
I also thought about to use air from the plenum, but the difference in temp is too small.
There is not much warm air needed. Just enough to keep the canopy clear on winter days and a little heat for the feet.
I attached some pics to see the routing of the exhaust lines.
Maybe there are other ways to get some heat.
