With reference to Bob's problem with the aileron bellcrank location and the
long aileron pp tube bellows... when the book is ignored, as I luckily did,
and the holes through the fuselage are made to match the wings there is
still a problem. That being when the stick torque tubes are mounted to meet
the now higher (water line) long aileron pp tubes on the aft end and the new
underslung interconnect pp tube on the forward end the hard steel link
(vertical connecton) from the stick torque tubes down to the aileron
bellcrank are too long by about an inch and three-eights.
The factory is having new link rods made up one inch shorter according to
Mark. Hopefully, they will be available soon. Meanwhile, 5/16" dia all
threads from the auto parts store suffice for rigging and allow construction
to continue.
Is that as clear as mud?
