I saw several Lancairs at Oshkosh whose fuel caps were engraved with "100 LL
14 Gallons" or something similar. The caps were nicely finished (brushed
aluminum or polished, I forget which) and the engraving was filled with paint
for easy reading. No unsightly labels on these birds!
The engraving is available from:

I called Werner yesterday and was told that it costs $45 (includes shipping)
for a pair of fuel caps. He has an exchange program for flying aircraft so
you don't have to go without fuel caps. I'm not flying yet so it's not a
problem.
Here's my question:
What are the tank capacities for a Lancair 320/360 with the standard header
tank and non-extended wing tanks? (yes, I'm a dinosaur...) The manual
suggests 11 gallons in the header tank and 15.5 in each wing. Funny, I don't
remember seeing those numbers on any of the planes at Oshkosh...
