Will your repair make it stronger or just fill in the gap?

Subject: [LML] 360 stub wing skin repair
While masking and prepping the fuselage for paint today, inspection of the left stub wing revealed a crack in the bond of the lower wing skin at the stub wing rib/main spar/D section area. The lower skin was bonded with Hysol at the factory, there are multiple BID layups on all joints within the gear well itself. I can only imagine that with a handful of wing install/removal cycles during construction, that pressure from the outer wing main spar on the stub wing skin during installation could have caused this.
Look closely
A new tool to the rescue! Out came the Japanese pull saw from Takagi...
I was somewhat surprised to find a small void after opening up the joint.
And a new batch of Hysol with flox to fill the void.
Now I can get back to painting again in the morning.
