The standard canopy latching system is four camlocs secured from the inside.  The newer Lancair system provides for a single handle secure over-center lock down and an external handle that can be easily locked.

I am interested to hear from anyone who has the forward hinge canopy, lock kit which they are prepared to sell. The one I am interested in is this one.
