I do have something similar, it is not a 3 way switch (and I do know what you mean by that), but it almost does the same. I can toggle the flap switch and it will go automatically to the 'take off' position. However if I have full flaps I have to 'toggle' it twice, not a big deal, but it is always good to visual confirm this off course.
Ask Matthew Collier from Fibercraft, they installed this, and it works like a charm :)
