Flying is a series of measured risks. I find it hard = to believe there have been more fatal accidents resulting from planes getti= ng hit by lightning while in IMC than by mid-air collisions, inadvertent fl= ight into bad weather, CFIT, engine fires, airframe mechanical issues, or i= cing. Unless you have installed every available safety system on your plan= e, then I think you need to tone down the certainty and authority of your o= pinion.
