Does anyone know the best way to bleed the brakes? I replaced the "O" rings in the brake caliper because I had a slow drip. I was careful to remove the line

from the caliper and then capped off the line while I had the caliper off. I installed the caliper after replacing the "O" rings and then screwed on the flexible line and had someone

inside apply pressure to the brake (like in a car) and loosened the bottom bleeder valve until fluid ran out. brake is still spongy . Any help on this

It’s almost impossible to bleed the air out of our brakes using the “auto standard.” I’ve had pretty good luck using a pressurized pot of hydraulic oil to push the air up from the bleeder valve through the toe cylinders and out the reservoir. I made my rig out of a pressure garden sprayer tank, but you can likely borrow a purpose-built unit from your local A&P. They are pretty common around aircraft maintenance shops because this is such a problem…for all aircraft.
