I understand that the exhaust has been sold. The reason that I wante to buy it was for the purpose of testing it on a diano-machine that I had built to test exhaust performance. I wanted to use this to establish a base line, have it coated inside and outside, retest for performance changes and then sell it. If the person buying it would be willing I would be willing to do the tests and treat the exhaust and forward the exhaust to him and throw in $100 towards his purchase
cost. I will forward the exhaust to him--I have an engine on the test stand right now--a 360. After the base line has been established I will pull the exhaust off my plane and test it. My son that built my exhaust was the builder of exhaust for Nascars before Nascar down sized the engine requirements--he now wants to build airplane exhaust systems. The exhaust he built for the Nascar's achieved an additional 23 to 28 hp with his system. We want to see if we can do this for airplanes.

This is the exhaust. It is lancair style III/IV for 320/360 150 to 180 HP with bottom mount (up draft) carburetor or fuel injection servo. It also has the EX-3/4 pipe mod for 60amp alternator. When I was using this exhaust I was using a 90 deg. elbow on sump making the servo horizontal and facing forward.
