<<How would you add labels?>>

 

On my wood-veneer-covered panel, I have tiny engraved brass plaques as labels.  Trophy stores engrave them and fill in the letters with black paint.  They are cheap, maybe $10 or less each. 

 

I also have virtually all switches with engraved labels (they are rocker switches).  Pacific Coast Avionics sells those and will do custom labels.  This way I need relatively few placards -- mostly for circuit breakers and push-to-test buttons.

 

It looks great -- im my garage...
