Use gun barrel powder solvent, which you can get at your local gun store.  Find a plastic cup just slightly larger than the injector, submerge, and place the cup in an ultrasonic cleaner (cup keeps the solvent from mixing with the ultrasonic cleaner fluid).  Works great.
