Dico,
Just a couple of comments on your checklist.  First off during your "seat belts" line, you should add:  "passenger briefing".   In the US is it required for you to instruct the passengers as to how the seat belts work, operation of the door, and any emergency equipment on board (and no smoking if oxygen if it will be used).   During the first part of your checklist you say "fuel on fullest tank".  How do you know it's on the fullest tank and why do you care?   You haven't turned on the master switch yet since that is farther down the list.   It should say:  "fuel selector - ON" in other words anything other than the OFF position.  Later in the checklist you can change it to fullest tank.   Do you really have a beacon in your airplane?   I'd suggest turning on the strobes at that point and leaving them on until shutdown.  In your before landing checklist you don't mention Prop -  FORWARD

Ron

Subject: [LML] Lancair IV-P check list -- need 2nd set of eyes

Hi All,

I've just taken the check list from the IV-P POH and trimmed it down to hit all the key points so I don't miss anything.  Although I thought that many of you have hundreds of hours and would perhaps recommend some changes/additions to the list before I go an laminate it.

Thanks,

-dr
