I would definitely re-consider rotation at 65kts, when you have your trim set properly, it needs just a little back pressure to rotate and then make sure you do not pitch to aggressively, did this once and came back on the main gear, was my funniest take off ever LOL

I actually rotate now around 80, which might be a bit high, but the plane seems happy, and so am I ;)~

I would not laminate too soon, you will found out that you will change your checklist as soon experience kicks in. Just make sure you get your instruction done (and I would recommend more than 1 CFII, as you will always pick up good things from each of them, I did 20 hours instruction before I let myself loose, and I absolutely enjoyed each hour of them ;)

Ronald (>50 hours and counting, since July 18th 2011, do you think I love flying LOL)

Hi All,

I've just taken the check list from the IV-P POH and trimmed it down to hit all the key points so I don't miss anything.  Although I thought that many of you have hundreds of hours and would perhaps recommend some changes/additions to the list before I go an laminate it.

Thanks,

-dr
