Thanks all for the feedback on my question regarding tape to seal= the wing.

I think I am going=20 to use silicone rubber to seal the gap rather than using leading edge=20 tape. A  procedure to use UV resistant Silicone outlined=20 in one of the responses sounds like a neat way of sealing the gap.
