Sonja Engelert is a composites engineer in Oregon who claims to have experience in assisting shops define and execute repairs. There’s another page on her website where she goes into specifics on how she can assist in repairing experimental composites, but here’s the overall services page; http://www.caro-engineering.com/. I don’t know her personally and have no experience with her work, but I have read a couple of her books and read just about everything on her website and she seems quite knowledgeable.

Subject: [LML] Aircraft Repairs
Hi all,
It's been a few months since my exciting highway landing, and the NTSB has finally allowed the insurance guys to take a look.
First, has anyone had experience with a professional shop that repairs experimental aircraft that was POSITIVE (e.g., you were happy with the work)? Preferrably a company which has worked with insurance companies before... If so, would you please send me the contact info for that company?
Next, one of the TIMCO shocks would need to be replaced but I see that www.leadingedgeaircraft.com is no longer a valid URL. Is anyone making shocks still for the 320/360 airframes?
You should be able to email me directly to avoid spamming the list... :)
Thanks,
Bill R.
