In the 360 kit, the horizontal and vertical stabilizers are not connected to the kit, so either way you'd have to "graft" it to the fuselage. The vertical stab is the same, the larger tail adds a larger horizontal stabilizer and matching elevators. The vertical stab and rudder are identical between the two tails. There are several people who have cut the small tail off of their 360 and added a large tail. There will just be some cost with buying a new tail kit and using those components instead of whatever is missing out of the purchased kit.
