Tom,
A half inch of washers sounds like a = very big=20 correction.....
On my 360, a rudder trim tab has always = been=20 required and it took me quite a while to figure out why.  The = vertical tail=20 is more flat on one side and more convex on the other side.
I don't know if the builder did it = deliberately or=20 just laid it up flat on a bench.  Anyway, it gives the tail "lift" = sideways=20 requiring rudder trim to compensate.

I have a 360 with an angle valve motor.=20 XP-400SRE  250 hours on this engine now.  I would like to = eliminate=20 the amount of rudder required to keep the plane square. (ball in = the=20 cage)  I have good reason to suspect the engine has been = installed with=20 too much yaw.

I have the engine level to the airframe in=20 pitch.  The manual calls for 1.5 degrees to the right in regards = to yaw.=20 (if I remember correctly)  I assume this was built in to the = engine=20 mount.

In order for me to get the engine level at = 0, and=20 straight in yaw, it would take about a half inch of washers on lower = right=20 rubber engine mount, and one quarter inch of washers on the upper = right=20 mount.

Is this = normal?

Tom
