I was told by the engineers at Lancair that 0-2 deg was the ideal and that 0 was OK. You should be able to get the "new" nose gear overcenter link arms from KCI. Just call Michelle and she should be able to get the correct ones. I have mine set to about 1 deg and there is no interference with the engine/oil pan
