A momentary switch is a good solution for a stuck pressure switch and I do suggest installing these. Older generation pressure switches were prone to sticking open. The current model has been much more reliable. Forcing the pump on when locked up due to pressure trapped in both circuits will work although it will give you some of that screeching sound mentioned in Tom's post.
