Continental wanted $900 at at time, so we called Westach. They make the little sensor that is potted into the brass plug. We bought it for $45.00 (Hall effect sensor module for Westach 720-14RB), drilled out the old one using a burr and potted in the new one. Worked great with the Blue Mountain EFIS and now, even better on the GRT HX EFIS. We have 435 hours on ours, so hopefully our potting job was a lot better than the original. :-)) Ours was not difficult to get out if you rotate the mag. Didn't have to remove the mag to get it out or replace it. Hope this helps, John Schroeder \ On Thu, 31 Mar 2011 12:43:57 -0400, Steve Richard wrote: > After only 300 hours, my sensor just fell out one day. The bonding > material did not hold.
