You cannot just compress t= he blanket between the engine mount and the firewall - the pad will move ov= er time and the bolt torque will relax. The assembly manual(13-9= ) doesn=E2=80=99t show the blanket tunnel covers being glued and I=E2=80=99= m wondering if they will simply be held in place by the stainless covers. =20 Also, did you all cut out just the mounting bolt holes or trim around the e= ngine mounts? I am building in my garage so the airframe must stay on the r= otisserie. I will need it to get the bird out of the garage - don=E2=80=99t= ask. So I have already drilled and attached most components to the firewa= ll. I will have to remove these fittings to mark and punch holes in the fir= ewall blanket.
