I would want a complete photo history with closeups at = every stage of the build + a detailed listing of who did what including = the engine overhaul and engine install. A conscientious builder tends to do all that anyway. There are plenty of really good airplanes for sale with docs. You are relying a lot on the attitude/craftsmanship/knowledge of the = people that touched the airplane. If you can't identify and = characterize them, then you don't really know what you are getting.
