In response to a recent post from a builder asking where best to mount the transponder antenna, here are photos of my installation, in the outboard RH wing.  I used some screen as a ground plane bonded onto a foam sheet strengthend with a layer of BID.  In 16 years and close to 1500 hours I have no complaints.  All stations in all directions have read my codes and Mode "C" clearly.  I've included a photo of my comm antenna installation.
