I think that will be my last resort. Just tryin= g to avoid drilling more holes. I moved it around with my elt antenna grou= nd plane and will try it with my rod and ball antenna mounted very low on t= he left aft baggage bulkhead. Also, I might move the AAE to the opposite s= ide down low. I Think with the AAE mounted flat against the side fuselage = it has a dead area front and back. Maybe mounting it flat against the bulk= head would make that dead zone off the wing tips, which would be better bec= ause you are always moving forward, so the angle would always be changing f= rom the radar. Has anyone mounted the AAE antenna with the flat side align= ed with the lateral axis of the plane? =0A=0ALuke Alcorn=0A=0A ------=_20100913114559000000_78899 Content-Type: text/html; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Thanks for the info Bill.  I think tha= t will be my last resort.  Just trying to avoid drilling more holes.&n= bsp; I moved it around with my elt antenna ground plane and will try it wit= h my rod and ball antenna mounted very low on the left aft baggage bulkhead= .  Also, I might move the AAE to the opposite side down low.  I T= hink with the AAE mounted flat against the side fuselage it has a dead area= front and back.  Maybe mounting it flat against the bulkhead would ma= ke that dead zone off the wing tips, which would be better because you are = always moving forward, so the angle would always be changing from the radar= .  Has anyone mounted the AAE antenna with the flat side aligned with = the lateral axis of the plane?
