Consensus of our local mechan= ics and experts is that the fragments look like the bearing race from the s= tarter adapter. We plan to pull the starter adapter next Monday to verify t= he source. I plan to talk to TCM Monday. We have not yet sent the fragments= for further analysis. There have been no other starter or engine problems = in ~580 SMOH. 1. Anybody see this before? 2. Would you pull the starter first or suggest another preliminary approach= ?
