Wolfgang,
I thought about installing = a bungee cord.
My problem is following. Having a IO390 I'm = very nose heavy and I built my elevator trimtab 4" shorter. So coming in = for landing below 95kts
the trim is not enough. So I need to = pull with 0.5kg to keep the plane in a stable descent.
I have = 2 possibilities to fix the problem: I can either install the original = spring trim or I install the bungee at the flap = actuator.
Maybe the spring trim is the better solution = because when you change flap position while landing you also have to = adjust the trim tab on elev.
As I have a throttle quadrant and = a glove box there is nearly no room for the spring trim. Maybe someone = has a picture from a spring trim installed
different = from the plans of = Lancair.

Christian

Has anyone = thought about a spring coupling from the flap actuator th the elevator = push rod = ?
