Hi Dana !   It rained all day on Thursday here at Oshkosh and the EAA have been parking most planes on the hard surface with the hope that the grounds will dry.  It is not muddy yet because no one allowed to taxi on the grass with few exceptions.  It was sunny this Friday afternoon and it has not rained since the morning.   Fingers crossed for tonight and Saturday.   My Legacy is still parked on row 347 where I parked on Wednesday when it was dry but the best option now is on the hard surface.   Don't even think about taxing a Legacy on the grass.   If you want to update, my cell is 972-351-1141.   Have a good flight.  Cheers !

Hi Ed,

We’re going to try to make it up there depending on wx.  I understand it is pretty muddy up there now?  I hope it will be drier by late Saturday or Sunday morning.  What is your cell phone number?
Thanks,
Dana Westphal

Hi gang.    I'm here !!!    Arrived yesterday and parked in the grass in "HBP - Lancair" on a beautiful, sunny day http://flightaware.com/live/flight/N767EM     ..... But if you are inbound today or tomorrow, STAY on the hard surface or go park at Bassler FBO, if able.   Let the guys with the tractors tow you if decide on the grass for camping, etc.    Remember to bring the drivers a six-pack when you leave.   They are working long hours.    Cheers !
